The Calanques is a residential interior design studio focused on creating calm, enduring spaces that feel intentional and lived-in.
Our work is rooted in proportion, natural materials, and restraint. We’re drawn to spaces that breathe—where architecture leads, details are considered, and nothing feels rushed or overworked. The goal is not to follow trends, but to design homes that feel luxurious, personal, and settled.
Based in Alaska and working with clients across locations, The Calanques approaches each project with a deep respect for place, light, and how a home is actually used day to day. We believe good design should support real life and its rhythms.
Each project is collaborative and thoughtful, guided by clarity and high quality rather than excess. The result is spaces that feel warm, grounded, and effortlessly composed.
